Sertis Joins Forces with WHAUP to Launch RENEX, Unlocking AI-Powered Energy Trading

Sertis was honored to participate in the official launch event and seminar of RENEX – Renewable Energy Trading Platform, hosted by WHA Utilities and Power (WHAUP). This event marked a significant milestone in Thailand’s transition toward a smarter, cleaner, and more inclusive energy future.

The morning session featured a dynamic exchange of perspectives from senior leaders across the public and private energy sectors, including representatives from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), WHAUP, and MeKha V. Discussions focused on the future of Thailand’s renewable energy market and how RENEX can serve as a transparent, flexible, and scalable platform for clean energy trading.

In the afternoon, Sertis led a dedicated session titled “RENEX & AI-Powered: Enabling the Future of Renewable Energy Trading.” We presented how RENEX integrates AI, blockchain, and trading algorithms to facilitate secure and efficient peer-to-peer energy transactions. The session included a walkthrough of the platform’s functionality from multiple user perspectives, from generators to consumers.

RENEX is now entering its final phase of system integration and live testing, with the first official trade scheduled for August 2025.
