On 26th January 2024, Mr. Thuchakorn Vachiramon, CEO of Sertis Co., Ltd., Mr. Somkiat Masunthasuwun, CEO of WHA Utilities & Power Public Company Limited., and Mr. Charn Kulpatnirun, Executive Vice President, Planning and New Venture Development at PTT Public Company Limited, representing Mekha V Co., Ltd., were honored with ‘Most Innovative Energy Trading Service Platform – Thailand 2023’ award at the International Finance Awards 2023, held at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. This prestigious award recognizes the excellence of the Renewable Energy Exchange Platform (RENEX), developed through the collaborative efforts of RENEX TECHNOLOGY—a joint venture comprising Sertis Co., Ltd., WHA Future Energy Co., Ltd., and Mekha V Co., Ltd.
The RENEX platform is a digital platform designed for direct peer-to-peer electricity trading between producers and consumers, eliminating the need for intermediaries. Leveraging blockchain technology, the platform ensures enhanced transaction security. This initiative represents a significant advancement in promoting the efficient utilization of clean energy, in response to the growth of the energy industry and contributing to the country's journey toward achieving carbon neutrality and net-zero emissions.
